Storage and use
The control may arrive thawed. Freeze it immediately on receipt at −15 °C or colder, but not in a self-defrosting freezer. Mix a thawed bottle by inversion and store it at +2…+8 °C.
The package insert gives expected values for Abbott Alinity, Ortho Vitros, Roche cobas e602, Siemens Atellica and Tosoh analysers, and for mass spectrometry.
