What the control covers
The control contains enzymes, electrolytes, substrates, lipids, total and direct bilirubin, iron, TIBC, UIBC and osmolality. The levels are sold separately: level 1 is K0311-10 and level 2 is K0312-10.
The package insert gives expected values for the Abbott Architect c4000, Beckman AU480, Roche cobas c501, Roche Integra 400+, Ortho Vitros 5600 and Siemens Dimension EXL analysers. Each laboratory establishes its own means and acceptance limits.
