PDF loggers for the cold chain
ELPRO LIBERO loggers create a ready-made PDF report of their measurements on their own: plug the logger into a USB port, and no software is needed.

Products
ELPRO is a Swiss manufacturer founded in 1986 that makes GxP-compliant devices and systems for temperature and environmental monitoring in the pharmaceutical and life science industries. The company has been part of the Bosch group since 2022 and has four ISO 17025 accredited calibration laboratories.
The reusable LIBERO CL, CH and CE loggers are used in pharmacies and hospitals, laboratory refrigerators and freezers, the cold chain, dry ice shipments and cryogenic containers. The single-use LIBERO CB, CS and CD travel with the shipment to the recipient. We supply ELPRO LIBERO loggers in Finland. If you are interested, request a quote.
LIBERO CL
Reusable PDF logger with internal temperature sensor, −30…+70 °C. Readout via USB or Bluetooth.
LIBERO CH
Reusable PDF logger for temperature and humidity: −30…+70 °C and 0–100% RH.
LIBERO CE
PDF logger for an external Pt100 probe: −200…+400 °C depending on the probe. For cryogenic containers, dry ice and ULT freezers.
LIBERO CB, CS and CD
Single-use PDF loggers for shipments: CB and CS −30…+70 °C (WHO PQS), CD directly in dry ice −95…+50 °C.
Reports without software
PDF straight from USB.
When the logger is connected to a computer, it creates a PDF report itself: alarm statistics, a graph with alarm limits and an event list. No software is needed.
Readable by phone.
With the LIBERO Cx BLE app (iOS and Android), the logger can be read and started over Bluetooth.
Regulatory compliance.
The report is in PDF/A format and complies with FDA 21 CFR Part 11, and the loggers are validated according to GAMP 5.
We install, train and service.
The same specialist handles commissioning and is still there for service years later.
Frequently asked questions
If you cannot find an answer, call +358 10 841 1600 or email asiakaspalvelu@diagnostica.fi.
Is software needed to read the report?
No. The logger creates a PDF report itself when plugged into a computer's USB port. Settings can be changed with the free liberoCONFIG software, and recorded data can be exported, for example to Excel, with the free elproVIEWER.
What is the difference between LIBERO CL, CH and CE?
CL measures temperature (−30…+70 °C) with an internal sensor. CH also measures relative humidity. CE is designed for an external Pt100 probe, and the measuring range is −200…+400 °C depending on the probe.
Are there single-use LIBERO models?
Yes. LIBERO CB and CS measure −30…+70 °C and, according to ELPRO, are WHO PQS approved. CB has two alarm limits, CS eight alarm levels. LIBERO CD is placed directly in the dry ice and measures −95…+50 °C. All of them create a PDF report via the USB port.
Can the logger be reused?
Yes. LIBERO CL, CH and CE are reusable and can be used for about 14 months to two years, depending on the temperature and the Bluetooth setting. The battery cannot be replaced, so at the end of its service life the whole logger is replaced.
Does the logger give an audible alarm?
No. The logger shows OK or ALARM on its display and records the alarm statistics in the report. Real-time alarms require the ELPRO cloud service or a LIBERO Gx logger.
Is a calibration certificate available for the logger?
LIBERO CL has a 3-point and CH a 6-point calibration certificate, which can be retrieved from ELPRO's online service using the logger ID. CE comes with a validation certificate, and calibration is available as an additional service.
Can the logger be shipped by air freight?
Yes. According to ELPRO, the logger is suitable for air transport, and its battery does not need to be declared separately.
What do the loggers cost?
