ELPRO LIBERO CB, CS and CD
Single-use PDF loggers for one-way shipments. The recipient plugs the logger into a USB port, and the report is created without software or a reader.
- CB and CS −30…+70 °C, accuracy ±0.4 °C (0…+25 °C), WHO PQS
- CD directly in the dry ice, measuring range −95…+50 °C
- Memory for 24.200 readings, PDF/A report and FDA 21 CFR Part 11

Which model for which application
LIBERO CB is the general-purpose model for shipments that need upper and lower limits with delays, an MKT alarm or a duration-based alarm. LIBERO CS is designed for shipments whose stability data allow a given time at a given temperature: it has eight alarm levels with single or cumulative delay. According to ELPRO, both are WHO PQS approved.
LIBERO CD is placed directly in the dry ice. According to ELPRO, vibration and pressure differences during transport can cause dry ice to cool well below −80 °C, so CD measures down to −95 °C. The battery lasts 30 days of continuous use at −80 °C and 5 days at −95 °C. The housing is IP65.
The loggers are configured with a settings profile in the free liberoCONFIG software or with SmartStart, and shipment details can be added at the time of use. Every logger has an ILAC, NIST and ISO 17025 traceable production calibration certificate. A logger that has not been started expires automatically at the end of its shelf life.

A report for the recipient
The logger creates a PDF report itself when the recipient plugs it into a USB port. The report contains a text field for the sender (for shipment details and instructions, for example), statistics, alarm status and a temperature graph with alarm limits. The report is in PDF/A format and compatible with FDA 21 CFR Part 11, and the measurement data is embedded in the file.
According to ELPRO, CD should be stopped as soon as it is taken out of the shipment. Let the display thaw for a few minutes and keep the USB cover in place so that moisture does not condense on the connector. For dry ice use, CD loggers should be used within six months and stored at +15…+25 °C.
