A logger with two external probes for refrigerators, freezers and cold rooms. Measurements are transferred over WiFi to the LogTag Online cloud service, and the display shows the readings on site.

How the WiFi logger works
The logger is mounted outside the cabinet, and the two external probes are routed into the cabinet. When powered from the mains adapter, the logger sends measurements to LogTag Online after every logging interval, but no more often than every five minutes. On batteries, the upload interval is at least one hour. Alarms and low battery warnings are reported to the cloud immediately.
The display cycles through the current temperature, the lowest and highest readings and a 30-day alarm summary for each channel. An alarm is indicated by a red LED and, if enabled, a beep. With a paid LogTag Online subscription, alarms are also sent by phone call, text message or WhatsApp.
If the network connection is lost, the measurements remain in the logger's memory. They can also be downloaded to a computer with a USB cable as PDF and CSV files without software, or into LogTag Analyzer. The two AAA backup batteries last for about two months, and a coin cell provides further backup for recording.
WiFi is set up with the LogTag Mobile app over Bluetooth or with the LogTag Online Connection Wizard. UTRED30-WiFi works with ST100 probes and the CP100K Smart Probe, UTREL30-WiFi with ST10 probes. When a probe is disconnected, alarms and statistics are paused.

Probes in buffer bottles, readings in the cloud
A LogTag Vaccine Kit is available for both models. The probe sits in a buffer bottle inside the cabinet and the logger outside it, where the reading can be seen without opening the door. For the UTREL30-WiFi buffer bottle, LogTag recommends silica sand below −40 °C.
When an alarm is triggered, the logger reports it to LogTag Online immediately rather than waiting for the next upload interval. On the display, ✓ changes to ✗ for the channel concerned and stays until the alarm is acknowledged, if acknowledgement is enabled in the settings.
