Randox Soluble transferrin receptor (sTfR) assay
Ready-to-use liquid reagent for the measurement of soluble transferrin receptor on a clinical chemistry analyser. The assay has its own control and calibrator set.

Method
The assay is based on latex-enhanced immunoturbidimetry, so sTfR is measured on a standard clinical chemistry analyser without a separate instrument. The reagent is liquid and ready to use, and it is stable until the expiry date at +2…+8 °C. Instrument-specific applications are available for different analysers, and sTfR is also on the test menu of the Randox RX analysers.
The Acusera sTfR controls and calibrators are lyophilised and human-based. Once reconstituted, the controls are stable for 28 days at +2…+8 °C.
