Point-of-care and routine testing
According to the manufacturer, the point-of-care controls are suitable for QuikRead go and Afinion AS100 instruments and for turbidimetric methods. They come in three levels and are coloured solutions. There are two pack sizes, 12 × 1 ml and 10 × 200 µl.
The routine controls are designed for automated analysers. The normal level is approximately 10 mg/l, the high level approximately 47 mg/l and the extra high level approximately 120 mg/l.
All controls are liquid, with a human albumin solution matrix. Instruchemie products are CE marked under the IVD Directive 98/79/EC, and the manufacturer is certified to ISO 13485:2016.
