How Biosecure works
Biosecure is made of impact- and puncture-resistant copolymer polypropylene, which is fully recyclable. The lid is pressed onto the body with a pyramid-shaped joint, and clicks confirm that it is correctly in place.
The lid has needle removers, one of them for insulin pen needles. During filling, the opening can be closed temporarily with the flap, and the final closure clicks into its locking points. A tilting inner lid is available to order.
The container attaches by its handles to a wall, trolley, table or tray holder. It can be autoclaved for 20 minutes at 121 °C. Colours, labels, palletising and coding are available to order.

The lid is pressed onto the body, first at the corners and then along the sides, until it clicks into place. The needle removers in the lid take blood collection needles, butterfly needles, Luer and Luer lock needles and insulin pen needles.
For temporary closure, the flap is turned over the opening and pressed at the sides until it clicks. For final closure, the marked points on the flap tab are pressed, and the clicks confirm the closure. The container must not be filled above the fill line, which is visible from the outside.
