  1. PURPOSE OF THE REGISTER

The processing of personal data is based on the general conditions of the Personal Data Act (523/1999) Section 8(1) points 1, 2, 5, and 7. Personal data is processed, and the customer register of Diagnostic Medical Oy is maintained for the following purposes:

  • Ordering, delivering, invoicing, and managing customer relationships for Diagnostic Medical Oy's products and closely related services.
  • Unambiguous identification of Diagnostic Medical Oy's customers and management of service relationships, including operational service management, administration, development, quality assurance, customer service implementation, and verification of business and service events, as well as the realization, analysis, reporting, and development of Diagnostic Medical Oy's operations and services.

Diagnostic Medical Oy does not disclose information to third parties for marketing purposes.

Data is generated in the register both by the individuals themselves (customer orders), by the employer, and through the activities of the data controller (e.g., product inquiries and competitions at exhibitions).

  1. REGULAR DISCLOSURES OF PERSONAL DATA

Personal data may be disclosed as follows:

  • Personal data of Diagnostic Medical Oy's beneficiaries may be disclosed to a company within the same group as Diagnostic Medical Oy and to subcontractors who have entered into an agreement for ordering, delivering, invoicing, and managing customer relationships.
  • Personal data may be disclosed within the limits permitted and required by current legislation to a court, the police, or an enforcement authority.
  1. PROTECTION OF THE REGISTER

Manual Material

Diagnostic Medical Oy does not process or store material manually. Reports containing personal data extracted from information systems are processed and disposed of in accordance with Diagnostic Medical Oy's information security policy.

Computerized Data

The register is accessible to Diagnostic Medical Oy personnel whose job description includes tasks related to the purpose of the register. The use of the register requires a personal username and password, provided during the granting of access rights. Access rights expire when a person leaves the tasks for which access rights have been granted at Diagnostic Medical Oy. Access rights are defined by the responsible person for the register in collaboration with the main user of the information system.

  1. INFORMATION FOR THE REGISTERED

The registered individual has been informed during the contract phase that personal data concerning them is recorded and maintained by Diagnostic Medical Oy. The register and privacy statement can be viewed at Diagnostic Medical Oy's office and at www.diagnostica.fi.   1. RIGHT OF INSPECTION AND EXERCISE OF THE RIGHT OF INSPECTION

In accordance with sections 26-28 of the Personal Data Act, individuals have the right to check what information concerning them is stored in the customer register of Diagnostic Medical Oy. A request for inspection must be addressed in writing and signed to: Diagnostic Medical Oy, Customer Service, Linnanherrankuja 16, 00950 Helsinki.

The customer must provide the necessary details for finding the information: first and last name, email address.

  1. CORRECTION OF INFORMATION

Beneficiaries of Diagnostic Medical Oy can supplement and correct information stored about them. Customers can supplement their information and update their contact details in accordance with section 29 of the Personal Data Act by contacting Diagnostic Medical Oy's customer service. For corrections to information other than contact details, a written request must be sent to: Diagnostic Medical Oy, Customer Service, Linnanherrankuja 16, 00950 Helsinki.

In a written notice, the customer must provide the necessary details for correcting the information: Name details and email address.

  1. RIGHT TO PROHIBIT PROCESSING

In accordance with section 30 of the Personal Data Act, the registered individual has the right to prohibit Diagnostic Medical Oy from processing personal data for direct marketing, distance selling, and market and opinion research purposes. The prohibition can be notified online or in writing to: Diagnostic Medical Oy, Customer Service, Linnanherrankuja 16, 00950 Helsinki.

To add the prohibition, the customer must provide the necessary information: Name and email address.
